  • Combination with different bayonet mounts
  • Focusing of the Lens is done manually
  • Effect most obvious with normal and macro lenses

Connection between Camera and Lens

In order to combine Lenses and camera bodies with different bayonet mountings, a special Lens adapter is required. However, these adapters also have a built-in helical mount. This allows you to get even closer to the subject with your manual lenses. The effect is particularly noticeable with normal or wide-angle lenses, which simply become macro lenses. But telephoto lenses without a good close-up limit can also be used for portraits in this way. It should be noted that there is no transfer of autofocus and aperture control when using this combination. The subject is focused manually. Leica M Lenses can be attached to cameras with L-mount bayonet with this adapter.
