Star grating - radiant reflected lights
The B+W star grating attachments have a line grating pattern on which diffraction creates ray stars around light points that produce attractive effects when the light points are in a dark environment.
The ray stars largely have the color of the light source, but can also have weak spectral colors. The direction of the rays is always perpendicular to the course of the line.
Rotatable mounts allow optimum alignment in the viewfinder image of the SLR camera or according to the monitor image of the digital camera.

B+W star grating 4-beam
The B+W star grating 4-beam has a rectangular line grating with a square grating pattern. The beams start at the light source, are very long and work best when they are not vertical and horizontal, but at an angle of about 45°.
