  • ND round filter with a density of 3.0
  • Reduces the amount of light according to the density
  • Color neutral
  • Ideal for long time exposures, flow effects with moving water, "deserted places", etc.
  • Suitable for analog and digital cameras
  • MRC nano coating
  • Made in Germany

A finely ground and polished special glass is used as the basis for the new ND filter glasses. This guarantees the necessary optical quality, which does not negatively affect a correspondingly high-quality Lens.

With the thin-film technology developed here, not only the pure ND filter effect comes into play, but a coating combination optimizes the ND filter. In addition to the filter effect, the coating combination contains a multi-layer anti-reflective component with 7 layers per filter side to prevent annoying reflections. An outer layer with the usual dirt- and water-repellent properties is applied as the final layer. This not only provides all-round protection for the filter, but also makes it easy to clean and maintain the filter pane. The light attenuation itself is very uniform over the entire visible range and produces optimally color-neutral image results.

PLEASE NOTE
Gray filters must not be used for direct visual observation of the sun (risk of blindness). They allow UV and IR radiation, which is harmful to the eye, to pass through.

MASTER Gray Filter ND 3.0 (810)
With ten f-stops of light reduction, this gray filter provides an increase over the B+W ND 1.8. People like to experiment a lot with this filter. Flowing water almost seems to fade into a mist. People moving in squares and streets become blurred or invisible. Some of these are extreme long exposures of up to one minute. The use of a stable tripod is required.
