Reliable scout in ultra-sharp 4K quality.
Wildlife cameras provide foresters and hunters with valuable insights into their hunting grounds. However, photo traps can also be used to monitor objects such as allotment gardens or garages and to prevent theft and vandalism.
The new Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 4K has been specially developed for surveillance tasks. Videos can even be recorded in high 4K Ultra HD resolution at 30 photos per second (fps), while photos with a maximum image resolution of up to 30 MP are no problem.
The integrated WiFi module of the Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 4K enables a direct connection from the camera to the smartphone. Recordings can be viewed, downloaded and deleted via the free app. The annoying removal of the memory card is no longer necessary. The app also enables a live preview with the option of manual image and video recording. In addition to convenient data transfer, the WiFi connection and app can also be used to manage the system settings of the wildlife camera. The exact resolution of the photos and videos as well as numerous other parameters can be set via the connected smartphone and the app.
Settings can also be made directly on the camera using the control panel and the 2.4" TFT color display. The recordings can also be viewed conveniently and directly on the color display. The video resolution can vary from 4K (at 30fps) to 2.7K and 1080p/720p/480 (also at 30fps). The image resolution can be set between 30 and 1MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 4K also has three integrated PIR motion sensors with three different sensitivities, a detection angle of 120 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 22 meters and a trigger time of around 0.4 seconds.
Thanks to the built-in black LEDs and the 4MP CMOS image sensor, both high-quality day and night shots can be taken. The images can be stored on a micro SD memory card with a maximum capacity of 128GB. In addition, the new wildlife camera also has a micro USB slot for connection to a PC.
The new Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 4K wildlife camera also has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode and an indication of the date, time, moon phase and temperature. Thanks to a mounting strap and a practical tree mount, the robust and splash-proof (IP65) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location. The operating temperatures range from -20°C to +60°C. The standby time is around six months. Power is supplied by eight AA batteries. Optionally, the camera can also be supplied with power via a 6V 1.5A mains adapter.
