Photo tours to secret locations that have fallen out of time are the thing of the hour. Cross the boundaries of the everyday and ubiquitous: Become an urban explorer and penetrate places that many contemporaries avoid: Old factories, unoccupied houses, abandoned sanatoriums, deserted monasteries and churches, former military installations, forgotten hotels and picturesque ghost houses can be found everywhere - if you look for them.

Abandoned. Forgotten. Forbidden.
This book presents a captivating potpourri of well-known and lesser-known lost places - great cinema with the photographer's imagination as the projector. In addition to barbed wire and thorny hedges, some of these places are surrounded by numerous legends and stories that immerse the crumbling rock in a mystical twilight between historical facts and comforting creepiness.

Andreas Böttger founded the agency go2know with Thilo Wiebers in 2010.
