  • Image erecting optics - ideal for nature and earth observations
  • fully coated glass optics provide clear and bright images
  • 3x Barlow lens - triples the magnification of each eyepiece

The 50AZ is the smallest and most affordable telescope in the PowerSeeker series.
With its intuitive azimuthal mount, it is very easy to use and particularly suitable for nature observations, but also shows many details on the moon.

Image-straightening lens systems ensure that you see upright, laterally correct images in the telescope, just as you are used to from binoculars - this is just as helpful when observing nature as it is when looking at the night sky.

The PowerSeeker telescopes
Celestron PowerSeeker telescopes open the door to the magnificent wonders of the universe. They were developed to offer beginners to astronomy an outstanding price/performance ratio.

The telescopes are quick and easy to set up, even for beginners.
You don't need any tools to assemble them! The stable parallactic mounts are ideal for tracking the planets at high magnification, and the collapsible azimuthal mounts are perfect for terrestrial as well as astronomical observation. All Celestron PowerSeekers are supplied with a complete eyepiece set and a 3x Barlow lens - allowing you to magnify over 100x.

The PowerSeeker telescopes have only optical components made of high quality glass with high transmission coating for increased image brightness and brilliance.
