Trying to bring out detail in the clouds while preserving the subtle residual light on the earth's surface can challenge even experienced photographers. Cokin NUANCES Extreme Soft Graduated ND filters are the ideal tool in this situation. The soft graduated filters feature a smooth transition effect between the darker and lighter areas of the filter surface. It is the most commonly used type of graduated filter. This is perfect for horizon lines that contain mountains or buildings. It allows the photographer to set a soft transition for these objects and the sky without looking like they used a filter to optimize the sky.

NUANCES Extreme filters are the most advanced filters COKIN has ever designed and produced. Based on the latest and most advanced technologies, the filters have been coated with nanoparticle alloys and made of highly durable, ultra-transparent mineral glass. They meet the needs of demanding photographers for high-resolution images with stunning color neutrality. We call them Extreme for their durability, but also for their ease of use in extreme conditions. Rounded corners and a special coating make it easy to slide the filters into the holder. Even under extreme lighting conditions, tones and colors are reproduced without color shifts and lens flares are prevented. Full ND filters and graduated ND filters can also be stacked without color or light distortion.
