Versatile and fast - The new FUJINON XF18 mm F1.4 R LM WR
The new FUJINON XF18 mm F1.4 R LM WR has a focal length of 18 mm (equivalent to 27 mm KB), offers a high speed of F1.4 and is suitable for a wide range of photographic situations.

At a length of 7.56 cm and a weight of only 370 g, the XF18 mm F1.4 has a filter size of 62 mm and a minimum focus distance of 20 cm (distance from sensor to subject). This makes it a versatile Lens, from landscape and urban photography to portraiture and wedding photography. Additional flexibility in difficult lighting conditions is provided by the high F1.4 aperture, which also allows for shots with exceptionally beautiful bokeh.

The FUJINON XF18 mm F1.4 R LM WR is exactly in line with the FUJIFILM X series philosophy of developing lightweight and compact cameras and lenses with brilliant image quality. It offers outstanding optical performance without being heavy or bulky. In total, the X Series line-up now includes 39 lenses.

Exceptional Performance
The optical construction of the XF18 mm F1.4 includes 15 elements in nine groups, including three aspherical lenses and an ED element to minimize optical aberrations. This means that the finest details of an image are reproduced with a high degree of accuracy and sharpness.

The six lens elements in the focus group move together to reduce aberration variations that can be caused by focusing. This results in uniform sharpness at every focus position of the Lens.

Fast, Accurate, and Nearly Silent Autofocus
The XF18mm F1.4 uses an internal autofocus system powered by a powerful linear motor to provide fast, accurate, and nearly silent autofocus. From the Lens's minimum object distance (MOD) of 20 cm to infinity, the focus group of lens elements moves a total of only 2.5 mm. This means that the focus comes into focus in just 0.04 seconds*1.

For precise control during manual focusing, the components of the manual focus ring have been specially designed to respond accurately, especially when the focus ring is moved slightly.

Weatherproof
The XF18 mm F1.4 is also well-suited for use in inclement weather and adverse conditions. The metal body is sealed at eight points. This protects the inside of the Lens from splashing water and dust, and ensures its readiness for use in cold conditions down to minus 10 degrees Celsius.

A lock function allows the aperture ring to be locked at the "Auto" position to prevent accidental adjustment when shooting.

*1 When using the FUJIFILM X-T4 in High Performance mode with Phase Detection AF active, FUJIFILM metering according to CIPA guidelines.
