Leofoto SO-362C Inverted tripod with inverted leg sections
The SO-362C carbon tripod is part of the Leofoto inverted tripod series.
The unique legs make mounting these tripods lightning fast and particularly user-friendly. The inverted leg sections keep the tripod stable even under the most demanding conditions. The SO-362C reaches a maximum working height of 180 cm. The minimum working height of this tripod is only 14 cm, which is practical if you want to work close to the ground. Despite its low weight of only 2.27 kilos, it has a load capacity of 40 kilos.

The carbon tripod legs
The SO-362C tripod is made of 10-layer carbon and black anodized aircraft aluminium.
This choice of material offers a perfect balance between robustness and low weight. This tripod has two leg sections - the upper leg section has a diameter of 36 mm and the second section has a diameter of 40 mm. The inverted legs increase stability compared to a conventional tripod. The Twist-Lock locks are in a particularly easy-to-operate position due to the inverted system. The legs are easy to adjust: You loosen or tighten the legs with just one hand movement. As this tripod has a load capacity of no less than 40 kilos, it is ideal for sports shooting, huge telescopes and, for example, surveillance or camera equipment.

Inverted series
The tripods from the Leofoto Inverted Tripod series are characterized by their enormous stability and, of course, the inverted extendable tripod legs. They also have a 75 mm wide, removable tripod plate, but do not have a center column. This reduces vibrations to a minimum and increases the stability of the tripod. In addition, the tripod is supplied with a half-shell, making it suitable for mounting a video head. A center column is optionally available, which can be used to increase the maximum working height. There are UNC 3/8 screw holes on the sides and base of the tripod plate to which a Magic Arm or smartphone can be attached.
