Leofoto Summit LM-324C Carbon Tripod
This tripod has a load capacity of 25 kg. That is already very decent, yet the LM-324C is one of the two "weak" tripods among the six models in this Summit series. Because the Summit tripods are characterized by high load capacity - up to 45 kg. In return, however, the LM-324C is also lighter than three of the other five models. Be that as it may, the carbon tripods in the Summit series are all suitable for carrying heavier camera equipment. With the four segments of each of its three legs, the Summit LM-324C comes to a maximum working height of 1,450 mm, with a minimum height of 80 mm. With the latter, macro photos and frog perspective are no problem at all. As you would expect from carbon, the tripod can be described as lightweight at only 1,620 weight, this anyway given its high load capacity. the packing size is 520 mm. The scope of delivery shows how variable the Summit LM-324C from Leofoto can be used. It includes: A removable tripod plate, a 75 mm half shell, rubber feet, stainless steel spikes, a multi-tool and a useful carrying bag.

Leofoto Summit series - super-strong, yet lightweight carbon tripods
Similar in strength to the powerful tripods of the Leofoto Mountain series, the carbon tripods of the Summit series are, however, a good deal lighter. This makes them particularly interesting wherever voluminous camera equipment is used for landscape, nature and sports photography. It is Leofoto's self-image that the tripod legs of the Summit series, which are made of high-density, ten-layer carbon, all achieve top values in terms of bending stiffness, strength and vibration damping. All metal parts also meet the highest standards for durability and longevity. Manufactured from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum, they achieve their absolute precision and smoothness through the exclusively CNC-controlled manufacturing process - it hardly gets any more precise than this. In the sum of their individual elements, the carbon tripods of the Summit series are designed to provide secure footing for heavy photo or video equipment in particular. To ensure that vibrations and oscillations are damped to the maximum, a telescopic center column has been deliberately omitted.

If you still need it, it is available as an optional accessory.
But that's not all the variability: the tripod plate, which is equipped with a circular bubble, is removable and can be exchanged for a half-shell for video cameras, which is included in the scope of delivery. Optional accessories (e.g. a smartphone holder, a Magic Arm, etc.) can be attached to the 3/8 inch threads of the tripod plate. Depending on the model, the tripod legs consist of two, three, four or even five segments. Of course, they always glide smoothly and twist-proof. And they can be quickly loosened or fixed with ease thanks to the practical, easy-grip rubberized twist locks. Non-slip rubber feet are also part of the standard equipment, as is a set of stainless steel spikes. Snow and sand feet can be purchased as optional extras. Conclusion: Enormously strong and hard-wearing, the tripods of the Summit series are excellent tools for demanding photographers who always want to, or even have to, rely on the high quality of all their equipment.

Summit LM-324C Carbon Tripod - strong and almost limitlessly variable
25 kg load capacity requires a strong base. Therefore, the diameters of the four leg segments each are 32, 28, 25 and 22 mm. These strong cross-sections also provide the necessary stability. Strong, easy-grip rubberized twist locks allow for quickest length adjustment and stable fixation of the leg segments anywhere within the maximum and minimum lengths of the Summit LM-324C Carbon Tripod. The removable tripod plate - intended for heavy DSLR up to medium format - has a diameter of 75 mm. It carries two standard screws at once, namely in 3/8 inch and ¼ inch sizes, which is convenient for attaching any tripod head. Videographers exchange the tripod plate for the half-shell included in the scope of delivery. Then video heads with a 75 mm diameter hemisphere can be used. The LM-324C - like all Summit models from Leofoto - is an ideal tripod for demanding photographers and cameramen with heavy professional equipment who like to switch between photo and video shooting without having to carry two different tripods.
