Mirrorless Nikon camera with DX format. Magical shots
Create everlasting memories - with a mirrorless camera that fits securely in your hand. Brilliant colors even in low light. A familiar pose from a new angle. The play of shadows when the sun is high in the sky. With the lightweight and flexible Nikon Z 50 mirrorless camera, you can take brilliant photos and make breathtaking movies. The camera is fast, powerful and easy to use.
Always sharp. From every angle
You can take perfectly focused photos and 4K movies. The hybrid autofocus is fast, precise and works extremely evenly. The AF points on the sensor cover (approx.) 90 % of the image section horizontally and vertically - for consistently sharp images. The focus captures subjects in the center as well as at the edge of the image section and even follows moving subjects.
Brilliant night shots
Thanks to the ISO range of 100-51,200 and the "low-light autofocus", you can take hand-held photos day and night. Whether you're shooting street scenes at night or portraits in low light - with the Z 50 you can capture more details than ever before.
Exceptional portraits
Now you can take even more natural portraits. The intelligent eye AF focuses on the eyes of the person being portrayed - even in a crowd. The focus is also reliably tracked for people in motion.
Always discreet, never shy
The Nikon Z 50 focuses quietly and has a silent shutter release. So you can take pictures anywhere without disturbing others.
Perfect movies
With the Nikon Z 50, movie recording becomes child's play. Record movies in 4K/UHD at 30p and slow-motion sequences in Full HD. Use the full width of the sensor in DX format without cropping. You can also take photos while you film and create impressive 4K time-lapse sequences directly in the camera.
Clear view
With the ultra-sharp electronic viewfinder (EVF), you always have everything clearly in view when taking photos or filming. You can display the image in the EVF in the same true-to-life way as in the optical viewfinder of a D-SLR. Or you can select a display that already takes the selected settings into account in the preview. The display always remains blur-free, even when magnified to check the focus.
Take it with you everywhere
The Nikon Z 50 is ideal for spontaneous shots. The integrated flash provides additional light. The body is lightweight. Its front and top are made of a robust magnesium alloy.
Your viewing angle
The large, high-resolution touchscreen monitor can be tilted up and down. Video or self-portrait, your shots have never looked so good.

The camera offers 20 customizable creative effects for photos and videos. Simply set the desired strength in the preview and look forward to unique results

The goal in developing the 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 was to create a Lens that makes telephoto photography easier and more comfortable. The engineers' top priorities were therefore low weight and compact dimensions. To achieve this, the optical design was optimized on the computer and state-of-the-art technologies were used in the construction. Without sacrificing image quality, it was possible to develop a surprisingly lightweight (580 g) and compact, slim lens with a maximum diameter of 77 mm. The optical system comprises 15 elements in ten groups, including a high-precision LD (low dispersion) element for correcting color aberration and other optical errors that typically occur at telephoto focal lengths. Regardless of the focal length selected, images are brilliant and sharp. Even at 300mm, resolution is very high all the way to the corners of the image. This Lens is also ideal for users who want to reduce the weight of their luggage, for example, when hiking in nature.
The optical design of the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 is based on elaborate simulations using the latest design technologies and strikes a balance between compact size and high image quality. The optical design includes 15 elements in 10 groups, with a low dispersion (LD) lens element precisely positioned to effectively suppress axial chromatic as well as other aberrations that can occur with telephoto zoom lenses. At 300mm, a commonly used telephoto focal length, the lens design delivers excellent resolution right into the corners of the image. Thanks to TAMRON's BBAR coating, which is world-renowned for its anti-reflective performance, the new zoom lens produces extremely sharp and clear images throughout the zoom range.
The autofocus is based on an exceptionally quiet RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor. The autofocus system features a sensor that determines the current focus setting of the Lens. This ensures fast and precise automatic focusing. Even with fast-moving subjects, the focus is continuously tracked. The autofocus works very quietly, so that no disturbing focusing noises are recorded during video recordings.
Users can also take advantage of TAMRON's dedicated Lens Utility software on the Nikon Z version of the 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3. The software here allows users to easily update the Lens to the latest firmware themselves without having to go through the camera, providing a quick and easy way to update when newer firmware is available.
The bayonet ring and other critical areas of the lens body are sealed against moisture and splashing water. This added protection allows photography even in adverse weather conditions.
