Auf den ersten Blick könnte man denken, dass man es bei dieser Kamera mit einer X100VI zu tun hat. Die XE-5 unterscheidet sich nur in wenigen Aspekten von der vorher genannten Kamera:

Die XE-5 ist in Länge und Breite 2-3 mm kleiner, spart in der Tiefe sogar 16mm ein und ist dadurch (ohne Objektiv) 76 Gramm leichter. Mit dem neuen 23mm Pancake-Objektiv werden diese Gewichts- und Maßersparnisse jedoch direkt wieder ausgeglichen.
Außerdem hat die XE-5 nur einen elektronischen Sucher, wohingegen die X100VI einen Hynbridsucher besitzt und auch auf den internen Blitz wurde verzichtet.

Dafür können Benutzer jetzt von einem dedizierten Filmsimulationsrad profitieren, das außerdem frei belegbare Slots für eigene Filmsimulationen besitzt. Der wohl größte Unterschied ist, dass die XE-5 kein fest verbautes Objektiv besizt und einem alle Objektive für den Fujifilm X-Mount zur Verfügung stehen.

Auch in der X-E5 wurde neueste 40 Megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 Sensor verbaut. Der gleiche Sensor, wie ihn die X100VI besitzt. Somit stehen alle derzeit vorhndenen Filmsimulationen zur Verfügung.
Der Sensor sorgt für eine beeindruckende Bildqualität mit hohem Detailreichtum, geringem Rauschen und einem erweiterten Dynamikumfang. Durch das spezielle X-Trans-Farbfiltermuster werden Moiré-Effekte effektiv reduziert – ganz ohne Tiefpassfilter.

Videofunktionen der Fuji X-E5

Die Fujifilm X?E5 bietet für eine kompakte Systemkamera beeindruckende Videofunktionen. Sie kann intern in bis zu 6,2K bei 30 Bildern pro Sekunde aufzeichnen, mit 10?Bit 4:2:2 Farbtiefe, was sie auch für anspruchsvolle Farbbearbeitung interessant macht. Dank Oversampling liefert sie zudem sehr scharfe 4K?Aufnahmen – entweder in DCI?4K oder UHD?4K – mit bis zu 60?fps, allerdings mit leichtem Crop bei höheren Frameraten. Für kreative Zeitlupen ist auch Full HD mit bis zu 240?fps möglich, wobei bei sehr hohen Frameraten der Ton nicht mitaufgezeichnet wird.

Professionelle Anwender profitieren von F?Log2 für erweiterten Dynamikumfang und der Möglichkeit, über HDMI ein 12?Bit RAW-Signal an externe Recorder auszugeben. Der integrierte 5?Achsen-Bildstabilisator (IBIS) sorgt für ruhige Aufnahmen, selbst bei freihändiger Kameraführung. Auch der Autofokus ist stark – er erkennt Gesichter, Augen, Tiere, Fahrzeuge und weitere Motive zuverlässig dank KI-gestützter Objekterkennung.

Bedienung und Ausstattung sind hingegen eher minimalistisch gehalten: Es gibt keinen dedizierten Video-Knopf, das Display ist zwar kippbar, aber nicht seitlich schwenkbar, und ein Kopfhöreranschluss fehlt – was die Audioüberwachung erschwert. Zwar ist ein Mikrofoneingang vorhanden, doch bei längeren Aufnahmen kann die Kamera überhitzen, was die maximale Aufnahmezeit einschränkt.

Insgesamt richtet sich die X?E5 mit ihren hochwertigen Videooptionen eher an ambitionierte Hobbyfilmer oder hybride Fotografen, die gelegentlich filmen, als an professionelle Filmer mit hohen Ansprüchen an Audio, Robustheit und Dauerbetrieb.

Fazit

Unerwartet aber doch Willkommen! Die X-E5 bietet all denen, die sich nicht durch das fest verbaute Objektiv der X100VI einschränken lassen wollten die perfekte Kamera: kompakt, stylish, qualitativ hochwertig, verlässlich und immer dabei!

Für alle, die den perfekten Einstieg in die Fotogrfie suchen, oder einfach nur eine Kamera für unterwegs, mit der es garantiert Spaß macht zu Fotografieren.
