Ideal for the special
The SAMYANG 10 mm Lens is ideal for architecture, interiors, wide landscapes, but also art and nude photography. The angle of view brings information into the picture, but the angle of view is also dynamic and expressive. This Lens has plenty of everything: an almost enormous 105° angle of view brings almost 10 times the information area of a normal focal length onto the sensor. With a 35 mm camera, you would need a 15 mm focal length to achieve such an impression. You won't miss a thing with this Lens. In interior, reportage, architectural and travel photography, you will never reach the limits. New creative dimensions open up.

Outstanding image quality and high-quality workmanship
Great importance was attached to optimum lens construction to ensure excellent imaging performance. All 14 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections and produces a brilliant, true-color image. A special nano coating provides even more contrast and even more brilliant color reproduction. This Lens is elaborately calculated and built: Two of the 14 lenses are aspherically ground, while one lens is made of highly refractive "extra low dispersion (ED) glass". The advantage of this is the perfect color rendition and freedom from reflections of the images. The focus and aperture are set manually. The metal tube with its non-slip rubberized adjustment ring is very robust and impresses with its elegant appearance. Focusing is smooth yet precise. Aperture values are clearly locked in half steps. The lens hood, which is necessary for the large angle of view of 105° and calculated for the exact angle of view, is permanently attached.

Using an APS-C lens on a camera with a full-frame sensor
Lens developed for cameras with an APS-C sensor can sometimes be used on cameras with a full-frame sensor (mainly using an adapter). However, due to the significantly smaller image circle of APS-C Lens, the edges will be black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full-frame camera therefore corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be cropped in post-processing. The use of APS-C Lens on full-frame cameras is therefore possible, but not recommended.
