Our departments
Store
We want to enable our customers to express themselves creatively and give them the opportunities available to do so. Our store is the first port of call for this. The photo-enthusiastic team here is passionate about advising and selling. They put the camera in the hands of our customers and respond to all individual requirements. The team puts our products in the right light, looks after them and is the first point of contact when it comes to choosing the right equipment. Continuous training on the latest products and participation in events and trade fairs are accompanied with enthusiasm.

Purchasing
Our purchasing team loves shopping for everything to do with photo and video articles, just like our customers. It ensures that the latest products and associated equipment are available quickly at all times. The team is in close contact with our industry partners worldwide, has an excellent network in the photo industry and also looks after professionals and major customers in the B2B sector.
Our team spirit and passion for photography drive us every day to give the best for our customers.

IT
Nothing works at Foto Koch without our IT team. It is responsible for the online store and takes care of everything to do with the underlying systems to ensure that shopping at Foto Koch offers the best experience. The team programs almost everything in-house. This is where the problem solvers are located when systems are expanded, pages are moved or the screen remains black.
The IT team also looks after the intranet and the purchasing system and is the first point of contact for technical problems. Short communication channels enable us to exchange information quickly. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for securing and expanding our IT systems.
Warehouse
The warehouse team is responsible for the prompt delivery of goods. All orders, both online and of course in our store, are either sent directly to customers throughout Europe or stored at our warehouse until they are collected. As a member of our team, you will also solve problems, deal with returns, handle repairs, anticipate our customers' needs and exceed their expectations. You are familiar with the smooth process from incoming goods to picking and dispatching the goods. With us, you won't be working in a large warehouse, but in a well-structured warehouse where we all work hand in hand.
With a good grasp of things, speed and the daily goal of getting the goods on their way as quickly as possible, you're the right person for our team!
Marketing
in 1999, Foto Koch became a pioneer in the photo industry with its first online store. Today, our marketing team ensures that our customers can find all the information about our range quickly and easily and can store both online and in-store. The team is also responsible for our newsletter and the implementation of campaigns and promotions.
Our in-house magazine "Schnappschuss" is produced by the marketing team itself. Our creative minds exchange ideas with all photo enthusiasts on our social media channels, produce videos on new products and realize live workshops and streams.

Service
Our service team is the first point of contact if our customers have any questions or need clarification. The service topics include not only returns or similar inquiries, but also detailed advice for our customers. Every day, the service team aims to ensure that incoming calls and emails are processed quickly while maintaining the highest possible quality of advice. The team members always keep themselves up to date through product training and workshops.

IHK Trainee Challenge 2025
Business versus politics: the IHK visited Foto Koch, accompanied by Nina Chevalier, Managing Director of Chevalier Immobilien, Julian Mounier, Chairman of the Board of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf and Ulf Zimmermann, Head of Hebalko GmbH for the business team. Peter Blumenrath (CDU) and Stefan Engstfeld (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen), members of the state parliament, and Gregor Berghausen, Managing Director of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce, competed for the politics team. This time, our trainees were allowed to come up with challenges that had to be mastered by the respective teams.
