  • Old electrical appliances do not belong in household waste
  • Since March 24, 2006, old electrical appliances may not be disposed of with household waste . The regulation applies to all electronic and electrical appliances, from electric toothbrushes to home solariums, from washing machines to digital cameras, no matter how old. This also includes light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and energy-saving lamps. The appliances are taken back free of charge by towns and municipalities. They are taken back at collection points or even offered for collection. As a rule, existing collection systems (e.g. recycling centers, bulky waste collection) are used.
